            These past few days the Filipino people had discovered the most controversial government intrigue that would greatly affect our economy, the PORK BARREL SCAM.   

What is PDAF Scam or Pork Barrel Scam?

According to Wikipedia, Priority Development Assistance Fund Scam (PDAF Scam) or Pork Barrel Scam is the most controversial political scandal involving the alleged misuse by several members of the Congress of the Philippines. A lump-sum discretionary fund granted to each member of the Congress for spending on priority development projects of the Philippine government, mostly on local level.

REACTION:

As what we have observe, we can't deny the fact that we are surrounded by corrupt politicians. We can hear and see different news about what they are doing in their chosen path. Some are dedicated to their jobs but most of them run for selfish intention. The Filipino citizens we're shocked about what our Congressmen and Senators did to their Priority Development Assistance Fund, instead of using it for the country they gave it to "NGO's" without even clarifying if it is truly exixting. Yes, we can see improvements from our government now but it is right to use our taxes for their own properties and lands?

How about those people whom they promised to have a better life if they will vote for him/her? 

 Pork Barrel Scam ruined the trust of the Filipinos to the government because of the issue who Janet Lim-Napoles "Mother of Pork Barrel Scam" did to the money. She uses it for her own intention. This issue can affect our economy because businessmen and tax payers will have second thoughts if they will pay their taxes because it is useless, the countrymen cannot benefit it.
 I am happy because our President, Benigno Simeon Aquino III gave action to this problem. He is trying to create justice for us Filipinos on what this Pork Barrel Scam did but I hope that they will not gave her a special treatment in her jail. Every criminal should have equal treatment whether he/she rich or poor.

We are aiming to abolish this PDAF Scam so we made the Million March last National Heroes Day and I am really hoping that this march will knock the heart of this corrupt politicians and change for the common good.
